At Shoppe Studios, we partnered with Grown Magazine to document the vital work of four DJs who are actively cultivating spaces for Black and queer joy. Our role focused on the cinematography and post-production, translating the high-energy, sonic environments of these artists into a polished digital narrative. By blending an editorial aesthetic with a documentary-style approach, we aimed to capture the intimate connection between the artists and the Gen Z and Millennial audiences they serve, highlighting the intersection of identity, sound and community liberation.
